Sheltered from the westerly wind, this magnificent little cove lies at the foot of the Revellata peninsula. This small beach is one of the only ones sheltered from the westerly wind, which is very common in the Balagne region. Sometimes a victim of its own success at the height of the season (best visited outside peak season). You can hike around the peninsula. Allow around 4 hours to complete the tour. To get there from Calvi, head towards Ajaccio along the seafront for 4 km after the town. You'll be able to see the peninsula from the road. A small median strip that doubles as a car park on the right of the road will show you the start of the track (google maps link to this car park https://goo.gl/maps/ngCZFqaPnpowRhZp8), then follow the twists and turns below the track, preferring to walk if you don't have a 4x4 as the track is very damaged.
You can take a coastal path to reach the beach, at this very spot: https://goo.gl/maps/n2sd5HbknL54jYqB8
Allow 15 minutes' walk.
